It all began with an idea to bring together public, private, nonprofit, and faith-based organizations in the Downey-area community to identify and coordinate resources to support children and families in the foster care system.

May 2019—Over 500 people attended our Resource Family (Foster Parent) Recruitment Event—the largest event in Los Angeles County that year! From that event, one year later, ten new resource families were licensed.

The Downey community came together to provide holiday gifts for over 500 children!
